Attending seminars at “special discounted rates”. Why? Firstly because the organisers are desperate. They have tried to sell the full price tickets but it hasn’t worked. Now they are offering deals. Secondly because these seminars are designed to overload you with information. They leave so many “holes” in the information that you feel as though you need to buy to learn more.
Then it goes something like this... $3000+ for book; $5000+ to join their “exclusive” club... What do you end up with? Confusion! Less money in your wallet and bank account. No result!
Why?
You wouldn’t normally conduct yourself so frivolously with your money, so why allow yourself to be seduced by overwhelm? The process is not too difficult. In fact it is straightforward, without stress, no pressure and will not decrease your bank account.
These charlatans masquerading as legitimate companies make it look hard. They build up your enthusiasm with one goal in mind – to make them rich. Don’t fall into the trap and believe that they are all the same.
Buying property online or through a third party referral. Why? Let me share a story to back this up. Earlier this year I observed an “expert” (I use inverted commas as a means to emphasise that the expert was, well, not one!) bring in over $1M in two days from spruiking on stage. What a “legend” (inverted commas again...”. As short time after the company this “expert” represented had to apologise for selling blocks of land that were swampland. They had the audacity to blame a third party, all the while investors continued to throw their “hard-earned” at them!
Why?
Wow, a property for only $25,000 seems to be an incredible bargain doesn’t it? Well it’s not such a great bargain when it was bought for under $3,000 and on-sold to you for $25,000! What happens post sale? Nothing! That’s right, there’s no support and the so-called “network” that you belonged in falls apart very quickly. Check out these transactions at www.zillow.com and you will see first-hand just how much people are being ripped off.
Let me tell you a secret, and I suggest you share this around because not too many investors know this, don’t pay a commission! Check for hidden commission placed in the fine print for the selling agent in the US!
